Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

"It is acknowledged as an universal truth that a zombie who has brain needs more brains." This is the beginning of 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies', an enlarged version of Jane Austen's classic novel, only with chilling scenes of zombies who terrorize and devour humans. Elizabeth Bennet (Lily James) is no longer the kind and well read girl we met in 'Pride and Prejudice', now she is also an expert in weapons and martial arts willing to do anything when a mysterious plague reaches the peaceful English town of Meryton and begin to resurrect the dead turning them into fearsome zombies. The intrepid heroine, alongside her sisters, will have to end the threat and at the same time preventing that the arrival of haughty and arrogant Mr. Darcy distract her from her efforts in a film wrote and directed by Burr Steers, a filmmaker known for movies such as '17 Again' and 'Charlie St. Cloud'. Lily James got the leading role in this films also starring Sam Riley, Lena Headey, Matt Smith, Douglas Booth and Jack Huston.
