Prey for the Devil

'Prey for the Devil' is the new American film directed by Daniel Stamm, responsible for other popular horror films such as 'El último exorcismo' or '13 pecados'. The title follows Sister Ann, played by Jacqueline Byers, who feels a call to be the first exorcist woman in history. For this, she begins to prepare, but... who or what called her? Where did this call come from? Because of an exponential increase in demonic possessions around the world, our protagonist is forced to go to a school of exorcism reopened by the Catholic Church. Determined to eradicate evil, Ann soon realizes that the Devil has her right where he wants her and that he faces a demonic force that is dangerously related to his past.

The young woman will find herself in a situation she would never have imagined, where she will have to prove her worth to become the first exorcist woman.

The film stars Byers, Virginia Madsen, Ben Cross, Colin Salmon, Nicholas Ralph, Christian Navarro, Tom Forbes, Lisa Palfrey, Debora Zhecheva, Owen Davis, Velizar Binev, Posy Taylor, Cora Kirk and Elizabeth Gibson.

This new horror thriller is written by Robert Zappia. In turn, Nathan Barr will be responsible for the soundtrack, while Denis Crossan will do the same with photography.

'Prey for the Devil' will be released in cinemas throughout Spain on 28 December 2022.
