Presence

Rebekah (Lucy Liu) and her husband, Chris (Chris Sullivan), are a happily married couple who live with their children, Chloe (Callina Liang) and Tyler (Eddy Maday). However, their lives take a turn when they receive sudden news: Chloe's best friend has unexpectedly passed away. The event affects the protagonists so deeply that they decide to move to a new house to turn over a new leaf.

The place seems cozy and spacious, making it apparently ideal for living. However, things go wrong again when they begin to experience various paranormal phenomena: the ground shakes as if it were an earthquake, and something constantly lurks in the shadows. They can barely discern what is real and what is merely an illusion, so they must come to terms with their inner demons to move on.

'Presence' is a film directed by Steven Soderbergh ('Traffic') and written by David Koepp, well known for writing the 'Jurassic Park' script. Names like West Mulholland, Julia Fox, Benny Elledge, Jared Wiseman, Robert M. Jimenez, Lucas Papaelias, Natalie Woolams-Torres, and Daniel Danielson complete the cast. The title has been praised at many festivals, including Sundance. Diamond Films is bringing it to Spain for a theatrical release on March 7.
