Poor Cow

Tom and Joy form a desavenido marriage. He is a despicable human being who humiliates daily, even in the presence of his friends, and is also a petty thief who is always in trouble. But one day Tom just feet in jail and his wife decides to start a new life away from him. Joy is then moved with his little home of his aunt Emm, an elderly prostitute child. There he meets and falls in love with Dave, a former associate of her husband, and bad luck follows him when his new partner is sentenced to twelve years in prison. She promises him to wait until it is released, but who will come out before prison will be the denostable Tom. Directed by Ken Loach and starring Carol White, Terence Stamp and John Bindon.
