Platonic Love

Noah is a 17-year-old boy who goes to Luna's house to help her with the philosophy exam she has the next day. Luna is a girl who questions everything and who prefers to spend the night thinking about her boyfriend than studying for the exam.

Plato's dialectic intersects with his experiences on a night where they end up leaving the cave to discover the true meaning that is hidden behind Platonic Love .

With 'Platonic Love' we will also experience Vicente Bonet's jump to feature film. 'Love Wars' (2012) and 'Miniaturas' (2014) are two of his most popular short films, with more than 200 selections and 23 awards between them. Although his most ambitious and praised project is 'Sputnik' (2016), a science fiction story filmed in English and Russian, which has accumulated 44 awards and more than 130 selections in national and international festivals.

The production company in charge of the film is The Social Dog, specialists in developing the most basic emotion in the most complex scenario... and making it work. They start from simple premises, common conflicts with which everyone can identify. The most primary emotions, the most basic feelings, doubt, fear, jealousy, love... and they develop them in disparate scenarios.

The script is also written by Bonet and in the cast we can see Marina Varem as Luna, David Parra as Noah, Pedro Romero as Plato, Alfredo Alba as Sócrates and Antonia Gómez as a companion.
