Plane

In this action film from the producers of 'Angel Has Fallen' and 'Greenland', the skilled pilot Brodie Torrance has to make a very difficult landing to save the passengers of his plane when it is struck by lightning. After ending up on a war-torn island, Torrance soon finds out that the hard landing was just the first of many adversities. When most of the passengers are kidnapped by rebels from the island, his only help to save them will be Louis Gaspare, a murderer who was traveling on his plane accompanied by an FBI agent. They will have to work together and leave aside their differences to save the innocents from the dangerous territory in which they find themselves, dominated by murderous pirates who will not make it easy for them. Every second is crucial, it can be the reason why someone lives or dies.

'The pilot' is directed by Jean-François Richet. Charles Cumming, besides the story, works on the script alongside Matt Cook and J.P. Davis. In the role of skilled pilot Brodie Torrance we find Gerard Butler, actor known worldwide for starring in Zack Snyder's '300' as King Leonidas. The pilot's ally, Louis Gaspare, is played by Mike Colter, who played the main hero in the Marvel series 'Luke Cage' and one of the important characters in 'The Defenders'.
