Pinocchio

Stop-motion musical adaptation of the story of a puppet who wanted to be a real child. 'Pinocchio' is set in Italy during the 1930s. Guillermo del Toro and Mark Gustafson reinvent the popular tale by Carlo Collodi. A wonderful story in which we will accompany Pinocchio through the most hidden and luminous scenarios, revealing the most important and essential power of love. The original version features a stellar cast of voices formed by Ewan McGregor ('Obi-Wan Kenobi') as Pepito Grillo, David Bradley ('Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince') as Geppetto and debutant Gregory Mann as Pinocchio. They are also joined by Finn Wolfhard ('Stranger Things'), Cate Blanchett ('The Lord of the Rings'), John Turturro ('Barton Fink'), Ron Perlman ('Sons of Anarchy'), Tim Blake Nelson ('The Incredible Hulk'), Burn Gorman ('The Dark Knight Rises '), Christoph Waltz ('Django Unchained') and Tilda Swinton ('Snowpiercer').

The film is produced by Jim Henson Company, Netflix, Necropia Entertainment, ShadowMachine Films, Pathé, Double Dare You and Netflix Animation.

Also distributed by Netflix, the film will be available on the well-known streaming platform from next December, as it will previously have a temporary premiere in cinemas around the world on November 25, 2022.
