For Sara, summer means having to put up with the constant teasing of the other girls in her small town. However, her life takes a 180 degree turn when a stranger comes to her town and kidnaps her bullies. Faced with such a situation, Sara, who knows more than she says, will have to decide between speaking up and saving the girls or keeping it quiet to protect the strange man who has saved her from her bullies.

'Cerdita' is the first feature film by Carlota Pereda, presented at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival. Also written by the director herself and shot in Extremadura, the film is inspired by her homonymous short film, which received great recognition in our country and internationally, with such important awards as the Goya award and the José María Forqué for Best Fiction Short Film or the prestigious Slamdance Russo Brothers Fellowship (a grant for a filmmaker awarded by the Russo brothers, directors of the 'Captain America' and 'Avengers' sagas).

'Cerdita' is a rural thriller full of tension, revenge, fear, dust and sweat starring actress Laura Galán (who stars in the short on which the film is based), Richard Holmes '(Hasta el cielo'), Carmen Machi ('La voluntaria'), Irene Ferreiro ('Skam Spain'), Camille Aguilar ('Maricón Perdido'), José Pastor ('Temperance'), Fernando Delgado-Hierro ('Violeta does not take the elevator'), Julián Valcárcel ('30 Coins') and Amets Otxoa; with the special collaboration of Pilar Castro ('Advantages of traveling by train') and Claudia Salas ('Elite').
