Penguins

In the Antarctic, along other animals that are dangerous for him, such as killer whales and leopard seals, there is Steve, a small Adélie penguin who is surrounded by thousands of penguins like him that have the same mission as him: to find a couple to be with and procreate, although the mission turns to be more complicated than he thought in the first place. Steve likes taking walks along the sea shore, fishing and collecting rocks. On his way, he meets Wuzzo, an emperor penguin with who he becomes friends and he will feel less lonely in his search.

With a little bit of lucky he finds a couple with who he has a few babies. Nevertheless, when his partner leaves him alone in charge of his offpring, Steve will have to learn what does really mean to be a father. This will not be an easy task, but Steve will do his best to become the best father that he can ever be due to the circumstances.

This is the love story of a couple who has difficulties to raise their kids in one of the most extreme places in the planet Earth, but, at the same time, of one the most beautiful locations in the world.

From the filmmaking team behind 'Bears' and 'Chimpanzee', Disneynature's 'Penguins' opens in theaters all across the United States in time for Earth Day 2019.
