Penélope

Elliptic and twilight version of Homer's Odyssey. In this story, Penelope is called Carmen (Carme Tarte Vilardell). She has the character of a hard but sensitive generation. Penelope is waiting in Santa María de Oló. However, she is not a passive wife: she has transformed her loneliness in a constructive atmosphere thanks to sewing. Odysseus is Ramón (Ramón Clotet Sala), who comes back to town after thirty years away. He is not a hero: just a man who left his hose a long time ago, and now seems to have forgotten how to be back again. A last journey where the end, beyond the lived experiences, is the return to a country and a way of living that is gonna disappear with them. Carmen and Ramón want to meet again, in the middle of a wild natural space.
