Trivia
Story based on real facts
Like Na Young/Nora, director Celine Song moved with her parents from Korea to Canada. She later settled in the United States, began writing plays and married a writer.
Final song
During the scene in the bar towards the end of the movie the song that can heard is "Don't look back", a song from 1965 by the Irish group Them featuring Van Morrison.
Director strategy
Celine Song tried to keep Greta Lee and Teo Yoo separate as much as possible so that the scenes where their two characters finally meet seemed more real.
