Plot
In Korea, Na Young, a girl, and Hae Sung, a boy, are schoolmates and good friends. They often go home together after school. Na Young moves to Canada and then to New York with her parents.
Hae Sung continues to live in Korea, where he takes his engineering course, spends a brief period in military service and later takes a job. The two keep in touch periodically through video chats to chat about their lives and the stories they experienced in the past.
Meanwhile in New York, Na has changed her name to Nora, made a name for herself as a playwright and is happily married to Arthur, an American. Hae is eager to meet Nora and visits her in New York, where he spends some time with her and Arthur. What will the future hold for Nora and Hae in their relationship?
This Korean-American film is directed and scripted by Celine Song. The cast includes Greta Lee, Teo Yoo, John Magaro, Moon Seung-ah, Leem Seung-min, Ji Hye Yoon, Won Young Choi and others.
The film was produced by A24, CJ ENM Co., Killer Films and 2Am and has premiered at major world festivals such as Sundance in the United States and the Berlin International Film Festival in Germany or the Sydney Film Festival in Australia. It will be released in Spain on November 1st thanks to the distribution of Elástica Films.
