Passages

During the last day of shooting for his movie, director Tomas starts in an impulsive wat a passionate love story with young teacher Agathe. Tomas is married to a man called Martin and this event starts a crisis in their relationship. For Thomas, being with a woman is an exciting novelty that he's eager to explore, but when Martin also starts his own adventure, Tomas is jealous and starts centering around him again. Situated in Paris, 'Passages' tells de frenetic battle in desire between three people, where desire and possession is a constant. An intimate and penetrating drama that explores the complexities and contradictions of love and desire.

'Passages' is directed by Ira Sachs, who's directed other films like 'Love is Strange' and 'Forty Shades of Blue'. The script is written by him, Mauricio Zacharias and Arlette Langmann. The powerful cast is made up by Franz Rogowski, Ben Whinshaw and Adèle Exarchopoulos. Rogowski has appeared in other films like 'Transit', 'A Hidden Life', 'Great Freedom' and 'Victoria'. Whishaw has appeared in 'The Lobster', 'Perfume: The Story of a Murderer' and 'Skyfall'. Exarchopoulos, on her part, jumped to fame for her role in 'Blue is the Warmest Colour' and has participated in other titles like 'Orphan' and 'The Faithful'.
