Plot
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Jean Renoir, 'Paris Does Strange Things' is set in the Paris of the Belle Epoque. Elena is a young aristocrat from a wealthy Polish family. However, fate has caused the family fortune is completely lost, leaving Elena and family in utter ruin. So that her family gets out of misery, the young Elena will have to accept forcibly marry a wealthy suitor. However, during the celebration of Bastille Day, Elena meets a sleek and handsome earl and a gallant and strong general. Both will be captivated by the beauty of the young aristocrat and make every effort to win the heart of the beautiful maiden. Jean Renoir created such a vaudeville comedy in which pays tribute to his father, the Impressionist painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Starring the great Ingrid Bergman, she will accompany Jean Marais, Mel Ferrer and Pierre Bertin.
