Parey Hut Love

'Parey Hut Love' follows Sheheryar (Sheheryar Munawar Siddiqui, 'Project Ghazi', 'Ho Mann Johaan', 'Saat Din Mohabbat In') and Saniya (Maya Ali, 'Teefa in Trouble', 'Sanam', 'Mann Mayal') as they slowly find their way towards each other over a four-part film comprised of four weddings and a funeral (with the 1994 British romantic-comedy serving as inspiration for this Pakistan-based take on the tale).

Sheheryar is an outwardly stoic man struggling to hide his insecurity over his failing career as an actor. Sheheryar is determined to make a name for himself on his own terms - and to make it right now. Grappling with his career prospects and his personal life as his relationship with his mother and step-father remains strained, Shehreyar is trapped at a crossroads that he can only seem to process through anger. Saniya, on the other hand, is a strong-willed woman unwilling to be used by Sheheryar in his commitment-phobic games. Despite their quick connection, the two must overcome distance, prejudice and a penchant for miscommunication if they want to let go of their own fears and learn to love each other.

'Parey Hut Love' is a reworking of the classic romantic-comedy storyline directed by Asim Raza ('Ho Mann Jahaan') and is written by Raza alongside Imran Aslam and Nasser Aslam.
