Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom

After twelve years playing his favorite MMORPG, Momonga logs in for the last time, only to find himself transported to the game world, where he becomes trapped playing it indefinitely. Throughout his adventures, his avatar ascends to the title of Sorcerer King Ains Ooal Gown.

A kingdom that was once prosperous but is now on the brink of ruin, the Sacred Kingdom enjoyed years of peace thanks to the construction of a massive wall that protected it from neighboring invasions. However, one day that peace comes to an end when the Demon Emperor Jaldabaoth appears with an army of evil semi-humans.

Fearing an invasion in their own lands, the neighboring territory of the Slane Theocracy is forced to plead for help from their enemies in the Sorcerer Kingdom. Answering the call, Momonga, now known as the Sorcerer King Ains Ooal Gown, mobilizes the Sorcerer Kingdom and his army of undead to join the fight alongside the Sacred Kingdom and the Slane Theocracy, hoping to defeat the Demon Emperor.

'Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom' is the first film in the acclaimed Overlord franchise based on the light novels by Kugane Maruyama, continuing the story after the events of the fourth season of the series.
