Fake car

The Ferrari 250 GTO in the movie is not one of the genuine 36 250 GTO's. Instead it is a replica, based on a Ferrari 250 GTE, chassis number 4861GT, owned by a French collector.

Cast

Matthew Goode and Alex Pettyfer were originally cast but they were replaced with Karl Urban and Ben Barnes. Barnes also dropped out and was replaced by Sam Claflin. Later, both Urban and Claflin dropped out and were replaced by Scott Eastwood and Freddie Thorp.
