Original Title: Intemperie

Year: 2019

Info

Plot

'Intemperie' is a story built upon three archetypes: a goatherd, a sheriff and a child, symbolizing good, evil and innocence respectively.

'Intemperie' opens as men are frantically searching for a child (Jaime López) whilst he listens to their yells from afar, in the process of fleeing his hometown. The child ends up in the middle of a vast plain that he must cross on foot to be safe from the nightmares he suffered in the place that he once called home. Whilst other faces from his past hunt him down to turn him into the town's sheriff, he crosses paths with a humble shepherd (Luis Tosar), who offers him protection and to accept a sort of paternal responsibility for him, a decision that will radically change both of their lives.

Produced by Morena Films and Aralan films, with the collaboration of Movistar+ and Radio Televisión Española, this is a very exciting thriller with certain aspects that can remind a western, based on the homonymous novel by Jesús Carrasco. We are facing the return of the double winner of Goya Benito Zambrano, director and screenwriter of "Solas". Starring the winner of three Goya prizes Luis Tosar. In the film also appear Luis Callejo ('Tarde para la ira'), Vicente Romero ('Malaka') and Jaime López. the young actor who made his debut at cinema with 'Techo y Comida'.
