One day Lobo López

The documentary film 'One day Lobo López' presents the life of Kiko Veneno at the time when he decided to give the last chance to music, when he already gave up everything after years of numerous attempts, stumbling and precariousness, also dragging the leftover and nickname of a great but cursed musician. We are situated in the years before the 1992 Expo in Seville, a city that is undergoing a gigantic but uneven transformation according to the different areas of the city. The intention of the film is to create a collective portrait of the people and places that were present and formed an important part of the creative process of Kiko Veneno's album 'Échate un cantecito', known to be one of the most influential productions of Spanish popular music.

Lived and shot entirely between Seville and London, the documental musical film directed by Alejandro G. Salgado talks about music. Following the screenplay written by the director himself together with Guillermo Marrufo and counting on the protagonists of the story, playing themselves Santiago Auserón and Kiko Veneno, among others. Produced by RTVE (Irene Hens Aumentar and Ana Peláez) in association with La Maleta Films, 'One day Lobo López' will be released in spanish cinemas on March 24.
