Plot
'One day I saw 10.000 elephants' is a documentary directed by Alex Guimerà and Juan Pajares. This documentary applies animation techniques to recreate the events told in the story. Angono Mba, an old man from Guinea, becomes the narrator of the documentary by remembering an expedition that occurred in the 40s when a Spanish film crew had to record, under Franco's command, the life on the Spanish Colony. Manuel Hernández Sanjuan, a spanish filmaker was the director of the documentary. During the expedition, Henández Sanjuán wanted to find a lake that African tales used to say that once you've found the lake you'll be able to see 10.000 elephants altogether. It took more than sixteen years to produce this documentary due to all the investigation that had to be done.
