One and Two

'One and Two' is an american independent fantasy thriller film written and directed by Andrew Droz Palmero. The film tells the story of a family of four who live peacefully in purposeful isolation in a mysterious farmhouse, where siblings Zac (starring Timothee Chalamet) and Eva (starring Kiernan Shipka) begin to explore unusual abilities and dark family secrets when their mother (Elizabeth Reaser) falls ill. Is the kind of adolescent power trip that only really works if the adult antagonists are done just right. "Antagonists" may seem too strong a word, but that's essentially the role that parents play in these types of films. The film was released on August 14, 2015, in a limited release and through video on demand by IFC Midnight.
