Oh Lucy!

The story of Setsuko (Shinobu Terajima), a single woman from Tokyo with a sentimental vacuum who is stuck in a boring and meaningless routine. Looking for a change of environment, she will let herself be convinced by her niece Mika (Shioli Kutsana) to join an English course with the requirement of wearing a blonde wig and adopting the identity of her alter ego Lucy. This new identity will awake something that had been hidden in Setsuko as she starts to develop romantic feelings for her teacher John (Josh Hartnett). When he suddenly disappears, Setsuko will travel around the world looking for him; in the outskirts of Southern California, her past and family ties will be tested at the same time she tries to keep the dream and promise of Lucy.
