Not Okay

'Not Okay' introduces us to Danni Sanders, an aspiring writer who has nothing. Without direction, without friends, without a partner, without sentimental life, and what is worse, without followers. To change that, he decides to fake a trip to Paris and post it online. He has a clear and simple objective: to increase the number of followers, but he does not know everything that is hidden behind his decision. When a terrifying incident hits the City of Light, Danni inadvertently falls prey to a huge lie, something she hadn't counted on. She "comes back" as a hero and even strikes up a strange friendship with Rowan, the survivor of a school shooting who is dedicated to fighting for social change. And she also meets Colin, the man of her dreams. With this story that she has built for herself, Danni will soon see that it was all a facade, and she will have to face the consequences of being a real failure on the Internet. Written and directed by Quinn Shephard, this is his second television project after 'The Guilt', 'Not Okay' is a Disney + original movie that has a cast made up of Zoey Deutch, Mia Isaac, Negin Farsad, Dylan O'Brien , Tia Dionne Hodge, Nadia Alexander, and Embeth Davidtz.
