Plot
The holidays of James Bond are interrupted when an old friend of his from the CIA, Felix Leiter, asks for his help. The mission consists in the rescue of a scientist who has been kidnap. Nevertheless, the mission gets more and more complicated than what it seemed to be in the beginning. This thing leads to James Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain who is armed with a very and new dangerous technology.
'No Time To Die' is the twenty fifth film of the famous MI6 agent and the comeback of Daniel Craig as James Bond. Rami Malek is the villain of this new film and Ana de Ramas is a Bond girl for the first time.
The movie is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga ('True Detective', 'Beasts of No Nation') and produced by Barbara Broccoli ('Skyfall', 'Spectre') and Michael G. Cary Fukunaga
Cary Fukunaga is the first American director to direct an official Bond film. Fukunaga is also the first director of Asian heritage to direct a James Bond film.
Danny Boyle
On 21st August 2018, star Daniel Craig and producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, announced via the official James Bond Twitter account, that due to creative differences, the film's director Danny Boyle had decided to no longer direct 'Bond 25'.
Change of director
Cary Joji Fukunaga replaced Danny Boyle as the film's director. On Thursday 20th September 2018 it was announced that Cary Joji Fukunaga will direct the 25th Bond film. Boyle, the previous director signed to the project, had left one month earlier on 21st August 21st that year. Many directors were considered for replacement, with the short-list rumored to include Jean-Marc Vallée, David Mackenzie, Denis Villeneuve, Yann Demange, Edward Berger, and Edgar Wright.
