No estás sola: La Lucha contra La Manada

The event of July 6, 2016 during the San Fermines left a deep mark on Spanish politics and society. The brutal rape suffered by a young woman at the hands of 'La Manada', a group of young people from the town of Pamplona, shocked Spain, and now, eight years later, Netflix is preparing to release a documentary on March 1 that addresses these events, directed by Almudena Carracedo and Robert Bahar.

The pack incident takes center stage in the focus of the documentary. Carracedo maintains that "everything really changed there, our perception of violence," highlighting the social response it generated at the time. The media reach of this crime was considerable, even reaching the Congress of Deputies.

However, the documentary does not focus solely on the history of the herd during the Sanfermines of 2016. It also addresses the events related to a second victim in Pozoblanco, as well as the amurder of Nagore Laffageduring the 2008 Sanfermines. The directors explain that they wanted to create a narrative mosaic that interweaves various stories, thus forming a more complete panorama of these events.

The victim of "La Manada" has given his approval for the making of the film.
