Night of the Zoopocalypse

Gracie (Gabbi Kosmidis) is a wolf who lives peacefully in a zoo. While many of her animal companions are bored, she is happy there. Nothing happens in the place: visitors come, see how they live their lives, and leave. However, everything changes when a mysterious meteorite falls in her home. When night falls, a cute little bunny decides to eat it, thinking it was actually a peanut.

Instantly, the little one turns into a mutant zombie with a desire to capture the rest of the animals to infect them. Gracie then teams up with Dan (David Harbour), a wild cougar who has just arrived. Together, they will try to escape while gathering with other survivors, like a baby hippopotamus. What substance is the meteorite made of, and why does it transform those who get infected? The protagonists must discover this before it's too late.

'Night of the Zoopocalypse' is a film directed by Ricardo Curtis ('The Iron Giant') and Rodrigo Pérez-Castro ('Rio 2'). Steven Hoban ('CyberWorld') and James Kee ('A Christmas Horror Story') wrote the script, which promises to be a fun adventure with horror elements for the little ones at home. Sideral Cinema is the company responsible for distributing the title in Spain. The wild zombies will hit theaters on April 4th.
