My Way

Biopic that tells the life of the pop singer Claude François, one of the great figures of the French song of the 60s and 70s, author of the song 'Comme d'habitude', internationally known thanks to Frank Sinatra, who sang the English version 'My Way', with arrangements by Paul Anka. The film covers his childhood and youth in Egypt, where he was born, until his arrival in Monte Carlo, after the Crisis of the Suez Canal. Determined to become a pop idiol, his beginnings will be hard, he will not have the support of his father, but his impetus and ambition will take him to Paris, where he will become one of the great rock stars of the time. With concerts in such mythical places as Olympia, Claude François will be able to become one of the great pop icons of the French song, but his life, full of lights and shadows, will not be easy to carry, especially in love matters. The film culminates with the tragic death of the singer, victim of a domestic accident. Starring Jérémie Renier and Benoît Magimel.
