My Policeman

My Policeman' is a film directed by Michael Grandage, known for films such as 'The Book Publisher', 'Genius' and 'Red'. The film follows the lives of three young people who live a passionate story of forbidden love and social prejudice. Set in 1950s Britain, the film stars young gay policeman Tom (Harry Styles), teacher Marion (Emma Corrin) and art curator Patrick (David Dawson). Tom keeps his sexuality a secret due to the social pressures of the time. He marries Marion, but has a secret affair with Patrick, with whom he gradually falls in love. The film also jumps to the 1990s, where the trio of characters are played by Linus Roache ('Batman Begins', 'The Last Kingdom'), Gina McKee ('Notting Hill', 'In the loop') and Ruper Everett ('The Name of the Rose'). My Policeman' is an adaptation written by Ron Nyswaner from the novel of the same name by Bethan Roberts.

It is produced by Amazon Studios, Independent Entertainment, MGC Entertainment and The American Independent Film Company. Distribution will be handled by Amazon Prime Video.

My Policeman' will be released in the United Kingdom on 4 November 2022 exclusively on the popular streaming platform Amazon Prime Video. In the United States, the film will be released on 21 October 2022.
