'My name is Emily' tells the story of a young woman who decides to run away from her foster house. Her name is Emily and he wants to found her father and take out him from the mental center where he is hospitalized. After Emily's mother dead, her father begins to have some mental illness and he is locked in a psychiatric institution. Emily starts a trip to find her father with Arden, a boy who loves Emily. They live a lot of experiences and test the true life and the freedom.

'My name is Emily' is written and directer by Simon Fitzmaurice in his feature debut. Evanna Lynch, well-known because of her rol in 'Harry Potter' serie, is the protagonist of the film. George Webster, Michael Smiley, Martin McCann and Cathy Belton take part also in 'My name is Emily'.
