'My Name is Alfred Hitchcock' is a British documentary directed by Mark Cousins, the award-winning filmmaker behind important documentary titles in the history of cinema such as 'The Story of Cinema: An Odyssey', 'The Orson Welles Look', and 'Jeremy Thomas, A Life in Film'. The documentary filmmaker approaches the figure of the iconic thriller and suspense director from a lighthearted, innovative and radical approach: through Alfred Hitchcock's own voice, as imitated by BAFTA award-winning comedian and impressionist Alistair McGowan.

In 'My name is Alfred Hitchcock' we witness Hitchcock revisit his films, embarking on an odyssey through his long career also writing but mainly producing and directing feature films: From his vivid silent films to the legendary films that marked the 1950s and 1960s, which include 'Rear Window', 'The Trouble with Harry', 'Vertigo', 'Psycho', 'North by Northwest', 'The Birds' or 'Marnie', as well as his later works, such as 'Frenzy' or 'Family Plot'.
