My Ex-Friend's Wedding

Sony Pictures is in charge of distributing this comedy from the Sister production company titled 'My Ex-Friend's Wedding', directed by Kay Cannon, known for being the director of '#SexPact' or for writing the script for ' Cinderella' by Camila Cabello. The film was originally written by New York Times bestselling author Taylor Jenkins Reid ('Daisy Jones & The Six') and Ashley Rodger, and features revisions by Cannon.

The cast of the film includes the Oscar winner for 'West Side Story' Ariana DeBose, Chloe Fineman of 'Saturday Night Live', Megan Stalter, the protagonist of the American series 'Hacks', and Oscar nominee Amanda Seyfried, known for 'Mean Girls', 'Mamma Mia', 'Dear John' and 'Les Misérables'.

In the film four childhood best friends receive a voicemail from her drunken ex-best friend on the eve of her wedding day, confessing that she thinks she is making a mistake. . The girls then set out to stop their wedding and rekindle the friendship they once shared.

Producers include Sister Stacey Snider co-founder and global CEO, Deb Hayward, Brad Mendelsohn and Katie Abbott of Circle of Confusion, Cannon and Laverne McKinnon of K&L Productions, Rodger and Reid. Elizabeth Grave, senior vice president of development and production, is overseeing the project for Sony Pictures.
