Mute

Berlin. Forty years in the future, a future near enough to look familiar. The city has become loud and brutal. In it, Leo Beiler (Alexander Skarsgård), mute because of a childhood accident, is a bartender with only one reason to live here, and she has disappeared. He will start to look for his missing girlfriend, the one he considers his salvation, entering a world of dark streets, frenzied plazas and shadow-dwellers. As he's seeking for those answers, when he goes deeper into the city's underworld, an odd pair of American army surgeons, Cactus Bill (Paul Rudd) and Duck (Justin Theroux) are the only recurring clue. But Leo can't tell if they can help or if he should be afraid of them, for they are on their own mission.
