Murer: Anatomy of a Trial

'Murer: Anatomy of a Trial' tells the story of Franz Murer, known as the Butcher of Vilnius, an exoficial of Austrian origin who was responsible for establishing, governing and organizing the Vilna concentration camp during the Hitler regime. The film focuses on the trial faced by Murer for the atrocities he committed against the Jews between 1941 and 1943, a judicial act that, for all those people who sought to find justice in the case, resulted in one of the most controversial that are remembered. Director Christian Frosch directs and writes this film starring Karl Fischer, Alexander E. Fennon, Melita Jurisic, Ursula Ofner, Karl Markovics, Gerhard Liebmann, Roland Jaeger and Doval'e Glickman.
