These four women, who broke into the political scene, their talent and perseverance, as well as their desire to live, their desire for freedom and the transgressive vocation they had and shared. In addition, were pioneers in breaking the unjust civil code that existed and that began with the arrival of the government of the Republic (1931).
After the Civil War and the victory of the so-called national side, these women first became alibis and then forgotten under a system that returned women to household chores. Forgotten until now, their stories, dreams and struggles are recalled again.
'Mujeres Olvidadas' is narrated by Rosa Villacastín, a Spanish author and journalist linked to political and social issues in Spain. With a script by Echevarría Torres herself together with María Otero. With an edition that has again the work of the director, accompanied in this case by Martín Zamaldo. Alfonso Sanz Alduan has been in charge of the direction of photography and the soundtrack has been by José María Díaz-Canel, who has had testimonies such as the composer and performer Rosa León.
