Mudbound

'Mudbound' is an American dramatic film directed by Gotham Award Winner Dee Rees starring Carey Mulligan and Jason Clarke. The film is based on the world-wide best seller 'Mudbound' written by Hillary Jordan.

The main plot of the film is focused on two families very different from each other that when the World War II finishes they will have to put their lives back on track and start chasing their new dreams. But when two soldiers return home from war to work con a cotton plantation, they will have to deal with racism and they're new life. Their friendship will complicate the relationship between the two families while a love story will star to blossom inside the farm. The cast also includes Garret Hedlund, Jason Mitchell and singer/actress Mary J. Blige.
