Plot
'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' begins with the search of knights initiated by King Arthur to complete his table in Camelot. Candidates are Sir Galahad the pure, brave Sir Lancelot, Sir Bedevere the quiet and the brave, but not as much as Lancelot, Sir Robin. The four men are on their way to Camelot when they decide to abort the trip and complete the task entrusted to them by God from above: a journey in search of the Holy Grail.
The film, full of satire, narrates some historical events such as the burning of witches, while telling the story of each of the men, and where their nicknames came from.
Directed by Terry Gilliam and Terry Jones, the film has Graham Chapman, John Cleese and Eric Idle among its protagonists.
