Plot
Jacques Tati wrote and directed this French film of 1958, starring the famous Jean-Pierre Zola and Adrienne Servantie. Mr. Hulot is the protagonist of the story. He lives in a very humble house in a working class neighborhood. One day he decides to visit his nephew, who lives in a trendy and money neighborhood, Villa Arpel, with his parents in a rather luxurious home. The father 's nephew is a senior plastic factory, so he can allowed to live in such circumstances. Upon arrival, Mr. Hulot will notice that the house is cold and distant, feeling quite uncomfortable. There, Mr. Hulot discover that his nephew is not happy, because he can't do anything without his parents scold him, not even bring friends for it if they could break something. Mr. Hulot try to improve the situation for his nephew is happier.
