Miocardio

'Miocardio' is the story of a great love. Pablo, played by actor Vito Sanz, is currently going through a crisis. He is hitting rock bottom when, suddenly, one morning his phone rings mysteriously. The person calling him is Ana, the girl who completely broke his heart more than fifteen years ago. Marina Salas joins Sanz in this film where we see a day in Pablo's life in which he has the opportunity to settle unresolved issues and finish writing that painful chapter of his life. Or maybe not...

A film written and directed by José Manuel Carrasco, nominated in 2008 for the Goya Awards for 'Padam...' as Best Fiction Short Film. After a successful career in the short film world, this movie promises to be his big leap into feature films following 'El diario de Carlota' in 2010 and 'Close to His Chest', which he co-directed in 2019 alongside Jerry Carlsson and Jose A. Cortés Amunarriz.

Vito Sanz, whom we know from his participation in the series 'Vergüenza' and for his role in 'The Other Way Around', for which he has been nominated for Best Leading Actor at the Goya Awards 2025, stars in this comedic drama with romantic touches alongside Marina Salas, known for her role in the iconic youth film of 2010 'Three Steps Above Heaven' and her more recent work in 'Yo, Adicto'.
