Mickey 17

Mickey Barnes (Robert Pattinson) is a young man from the future who has no motivation in his life. The routine bores him and he cannot find his place in the world. Far from any kind of purpose, Mickey believes he will find a new opportunity by traveling to the space with a group of astronauts.

However, he is not aware that he is agreeing to be an experiment for the expedition. Mickey will continuously die for, according to what he has signed in the contract, later be reanimated with infinite clones that preserve his memory.

After dying on another expedition, Mickey 7 wakes up surprised by his own clone: Mickey 8. Due to a logistical failure, both clones coexist in the same reality, making laboratory technician Hieronymous Marshall (Mark Ruffalo) to sentence that both of them have to die. Therefore, both Mickey 7 and Mickey 8 have to escape from the protocol and ensure that their clone does not die.

Korean director Bong Joon Ho returns to theaters with his new proposal, 'Mickey 17'. After the success of 'Parasites', the filmmaker brings back the satire and social criticism that's now typical in his work. Thee cast is completed by Robert Pattinson, Naomi Ackie and Mark Ruffalo.
