Mi querida cofradía

Carmen is a catholic, apostolic woman from Málaga, Andalucía, who's about to see his long life dream come true: being chosen as the president of her church brotherhood. In the end, though, the chosen one is Ignacio, a derisory and sexist man who's willing to take her out of her position. They day of the procession, Ignacio encounters Carmen at her house to communicate her expulsion from the brotherhood. Instead of accepting it, Carmen gets in a messy situation with no apparent end: pills, her daughter, her granddaughter, her neighbour, and between the neurosis from one of them and the French toast of the other one the situation will twist itself until they get Carmen out of her nerves. What seems to be a terrible predicament, it will become step by step the only opportunity Carmen has to fulfill her dream.
