Mi otro Jon

'Mi Otro Jon' follows the story of the character nicknamed Merche, a woman who was diagnosed with a fatal illness and is told that she has only a few days to live. This terrible news motivates the protagonist of this comedy to want to fulfill her last wish on earth: to see the sea for the last time on the island of La Palma.. In addition, she aims to fulfill the dreams of her three best friends.

The doctors tell her that her weakened body does not allow her to undertake a trip of such magnitude and therefore must stay at home so as not to hasten her death. But this will not stop Merche from continuing behind her goal.. Then the crazy Merche, along with her daughter, visit a brilliant scientist who offers her a magical and risky solution. Swapping bodies with a man who died.

The woman accepts the deal, letting the scientist insert her soul into the body of Jon, a big vasco truck driver. That's where the clever name of the film comes from. Once inside his new body he will face fun adventures with his family and friends but she will only have three days to complete his mission.
