Meteors

'Meteors' was presented a year ago in Locarno's festival, from which launched to other festivals, such as Sevilla's one in the section 'Las Nuevas Olas'. Located between Kurdistan and southeast of Turkey, this documentary tells with a prevailing visual flair the story of the conflict between kurdos and turks that has been happening since many years, with a loss of life down the road. Divided in several chapters, the film shows different stories about kurdish citizens. Gürcan Keltek ('Colony') builds a documentary where militar repression is the key to understand the conflict and the situation that is complained by the memories of young kurish writer, Ebru Ojen, which are useful to in order to inspire the film.
