Mental Hai Kya

'Judgmentall Hai Kya' tells the story of Bobby Batliwala Grewal (Kangana Ranaut, 'Queen'), an orphan who lost her parents at a young age, partially at her own hand. The event leads to Bobby growing up somewhat disturbed, even under the care of her grandfather (Lalit Behl, 'Made in Heaven'). As soon as she is old enough, she lives away from him and makes a living by dubbing films, all whilst she refuses to take the pills she is prescribed for her psychosis.

One day, Keshav (Rajkummar Rao, 'Newton') and Meena (Amyra Dastur, 'The Trip'), a couple, move in near Bobby. Bobby is attracted to Keshav despite noticing his tendency to lie to Meena. When Meena is killed in a gas explosion, Bobby insists that Keshav is behind her death, but the case is closed, leaving Bobby enraged. Two years later, Bobby seems to have her mental illness under control and she's living in London with her cousin, Megha (Amrita Puri, 'Four More Shots Please'). The stability she has fought so hard for, however, is thrown off course when she spots Keshav. Unwilling to believe that his guilt is in her head, Bobby sets out to discover who was truly behind Meena's death.
