Medusa Deluxe

The film tells us about the mysterious murder that takes place in a competitive hairdressing contest. How can it be otherwise, the world of extravagance and excess collide when one of the contestants dies, which will sow the seeds of division among a community obsessed by their passion for hair. All the characters will be suspects, be it Cleve, Divine or Kendra, while waiting for the police to question them, they will spend the time gossiping, plotting and even showing off their imaginative hairstyling skills.

'Medusa Deluxe' marks the directorial debut of young Thomas Hardiman, who is also in charge of writing the script for his first film. Regarding production, the film is produced by Michael Elliott, and has Louise Palmkvisthansen and Lee Groombridge as producers.

In the original cast of the film we can find Clare Perskins in the role of Cleve, Anita-Joy Uwajeh plays Timba, Harriet Webb will be in the role of Kendra and actor Darrell D'Silva plays Rene.

You don't really know much about the movie when you go to see it due its little information we have, so the experience is quite a surprise. 'Medusa Deluxe' is narrated in a sequence shot in the 'Children of Men' style, and uses black humor, a humor that is very characteristic of the English.
