May in the Summer

'May in the Summer' tells the story of May Brennan, a beautiful and intelligent woman from New York who travels back to the Jordanian city where she was brought up before she gets married Ziad, a famous Muslim university professor. When she meets her family again in Amman, she discovers that her parents are divorced and some cultural conflicts start between her modern values and the old customs. Her mother Nadine does not want go to the wedding, because she is a converted Christian. It seems that her sisters Dalia and Yasmine have not matured. May also will try to revive her relationship with her father, who has rebuilt his life with another woman. During her stay in her childhood hometown the main character will think about the life she is going to start with his husband.
