Plot
David (Zach Galifianakis) is a night watchman at night driving an armored truck. In search of easy money, the protagonist meets a group of inexperienced criminals. With his partner Kelly (Kristen Wiig) to these hoodlums are the idea to rob a bank. But things get complicated for David when his companions betray and abandon him in Mexico. While these realize the juicy booty, David will have to dodge the authorities and try to take revenge on those they most trusted. Comically 'Masterminds' makes getting to the big screen a real event that took place in 1997, becoming one of the largest and craziest robberies in the United States history. The film is directed by Jared Hess ('Napoleon Dynamite', 'Super Nacho').
