Marlowe

A fast-paced crime thriller set in Los Angeles in the late 1930s where Liam Neeson is the street detective Philip Marlowe, who has been hired to find the lover of an exquisite heiress (Diane Kruger), daughter of a famous movie star, played by Jessica Lange. Marlow will gradually unravel the web of lies that covers the disappearance and that the culprits are trying so hard to hide, making the investigation more and more dangerous.

'Marlowe' is based on the novel 'The Black Eyed Blonde', written by John Banville, which rescues the character created by writer Raymond Chandler almost 90 years ago. The film is directed by Neil Jordan ('The Crying Game,' 'Interview with the Vampire'), who co-wrote the script alongside William Monahan. The cast features Oscar nominee Liam Neeson ('Schindler's List', 'Kinsey', 'Love Actually') and Diane Kruger ('Inglourious Basterds', 'The Bridge'), joined onscreen by Jessica Lange ('American Horror Story', 'Tootsie'), Brenda Rawn, Alan Moloney ('Brooklyn', 'The Siege of Jadotville'), Stella Stocker, François Arnaud ('I Killed My Mother'), Darrell D'Silva, Ian Hart, Kim DeLonghi, Stephan Wiks, Tony Corvillo, Patrick Muldoon, Daniela Melchior, Mitchell Mullen, Roberto Peralta, J. M. Maciá and Michael Garvey.
