Plot
'Manifesto' unites the opinions, feelings and wishes of followers of various art movements. The film focuses on one key point: what role does the artist play nowadays?
The thirteen people, who feature in this very realistic film, form quite a diverse group given that one is a puppet master, another a teacher, and another is homeless. All of the roles are played by Cate Blanchett, who has been working in film since 1993. The actress has also worked as a producer and director.
Credit is perhaps due to the audiovisual aspect of the film that allows us to discover just how versatile of an actress Blanchett is. The thirteen different individuals, each let their opinions be known through a series of monologues.
