Macbeth

Feature film adaptation of Shakespeare's Scottish play about General Macbeth whose ambitious wife urges him to use wicked means in order to gain power of the throne over the sitting king, Duncan. This new feature film is directed by Justin Kurzel and starring Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard. Both actors and the director will be working again together in 'Assassin's Creed'.

When three witches cast a spell on Macbeth foretelling him that he will become Thane of Cawdor and also future King of Scotland. When the first prophecy comes true he lets his wife, Lady Macbeth about the witches' prophecies. She covets the throne more than her husband so she will begin to plan King Duncan's death so they could be King and Queen.
