M3GAN

'M3GAN' is directed by James Wan, the filmmaker behind 'Annabelle' 'Saw', 'The Conjuring', and 'Insidious', who has experience as a director in the horror genre after directing 'Housebound'. The film is based on Wan's story and has been adapted into a screenplay by Akela Cooper ('Evil', 'The Witches of East End').

Allison Williams ('Let Me Out', 'Girls') is Gemma, a robotic engineer who designs a life-size doll with artificial intelligence, programmed so that her niece Cady, who has just been orphaned, doesn't feel alone. M3gan will be much more than a toy: she will be one of the family, and she will take very seriously the task of protecting the girl from any physical or emotional harm.

Violet McGraw plays Cady, Amie Donald plays M3gan and Jenna Davis voices the doll. The rest of the cast includes Ronny Chieng ('Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings'), Brian Jordan Alvarez ('Will & Grace'), Arlo Green, Jen Van Epps '(Cowboy Bebop'), Kira Josephson, Jack Cassidy, Stephane Garneau-Monten, Michael Saccente and Lori Dungey ('The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring').

The film is presented by Universal Pictures and Blumhouse, the production company behind such horror films as 'Halloween Night', 'Black Phone' and 'The Invisible Man'.
