'Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile' is the live-action/digital animation hybrid feature film adaptation of Bernard Waber's best-selling book series. Will Speck and Josh Gordon direct the film, which stars Javier Bardem and popular singer Shawn Mendes as the original voice of the loveable singing crocodile Lilo. When the Primm family (played by Constance Wu, Scoot McNairy and Winslow Fegley) moves to New York, their teenage son Josh struggles to adjust to his new life by navigating school and trying to make new friends. Everything changes when he discovers Lilo, a singing crocodile who loves taking baths, caviar and good music, living in the attic of his new house. Josh and Lilo soon become best friends. However, when Lilo's existence is threatened by the Primms' neighbor, the evil Mr. Grumps (Brett Gelman), the family must team up with the crocodile's eccentric and charismatic owner, Hector P. Valenti (Javier Bardem), to show the world that family can come from the most unexpected places and that there is nothing wrong with Lilo, an animal with a big heart and personality. 'Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile' features original songs performed by Shawn Mendes and written by the songwriting tandem behind 'La La Land' and 'The Greatest Showman', Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.
